World Rankings – April 2025

The end of the season is nearly upon us…!
April has, as usual, offered us a fantastic mix of double gameweeks, cup clashes and changes in league leadership. Big scores coming in and some surprise results along the way.

This month has been trying for a lot of teams, but also seen a few diamonds emerge from the rough. There are some beautifully long win streaks amongst the WDL tables, most notably Peltier and HLAB who were both just a single matchpoint away from producing another Grand Slam! Preliminary Version, IB Lausig, AFC Chester, East Loop United, Flubbing Yanks, Sham’s Army and Tino’s Legacy have all been collecting lots of W’s over the past few weeks too.

Week-by-week World Ranking positions

League One’s East Loop United have risen five World Ranking places since last month’s report, but unfortunately not as many league places. That said, climbing out of the relegation zone is probably more important to them than reaching the Top 30 here. League rivals The Phenoms have also successfully broken into the Top 30 with four wins from the last five games.

Tino’s Legacy have collected a lot of green lights this season, and continue to do so this month. After being as low as 87th in the first quarter of the season, they shot up an incredible 42 places to 45th and look like getting promotion very soon too.

In the Top 10, El Dude have climbed a place to 7th, HLAB have climbed two places to 4th, Wives’ Fave have returned to 3rd, and the top two remain the same. Also note how the top four right now mirror the top of the Premier League. It goes to show how much quality there is at the top of the BFFA ladder! 💪
