Champions League Qualification

In August the Champions League will return with this season’s best teams competing for the most prestigious prize in the BFFA.

Qualifying Positions:
Premier League Top 4,
Championship Top 4,
League One Top 3,
League Two Top 3,
Champions League Holders,
BFFA Cup Winners.

The 9/16 teams that have qualified so far:
Atletico Topo Chico, Boss, Fergi Time, Housewives Favourite, Mighty Fine Feeling, Peltier, Route 57 FC, Sporting Wicker Park, Wijnaldum Leviosa
BFFA Cup Winners: The El Dude Brothers -or- Jaysokker

Reserves: Best remaining pointscorers.
So, if Mighty Fine Feeling and/or the BFFA Cup Winners occupy a qualifying league position at the end of the season, the space(s) will be given to the team(s) with the most total matchpoints.
For example, if it were to end today, those honours would go to: The El Dude Brothers (4th in League One, 1762 FPts), and then Barons FC (5th in the Championship, 1559 FPts). If The El Dude Brothers also won the BFFA Cup Final, then the second reserve space would be hotly contested by The Money Team, Ole’s at the Wheel, et al.

Of course, in the remaining gameweeks league positions and the Best-ish standings will likely change, opening those reserve spots to other teams. Watch this space. Also, the BFFA Cup Final will be played in the final gameweek and may also affect the outcome for the teams below.
