Winter Cup – First Round Teams – BOTH FOOTED FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION

Gameweek 4 is in the books and so we take a break, catch our breath and get ready for GW5. Gameweek 5 is two weeks away and not only sees the return of our League games, but it is also the start of the BFFA Winter Cup.

In the First Round, sixteen teams will be paired off. The winners of these games will join the other twenty-four in the Second Round and the losers will, of course, have to wait for the Spring Cup in January for another shot at Cup glory.

The teams going into the first draw are the bottom sixteen in the Best-ish Table. This week there were three teams tied for 24th place on 137 matchpoints. Unfortunately for two teams, The Money Team scored 41 in their most recent game to give them the bye. BattleVAR Galáctico (40) and Harambe Hotspur F.C. (33) filled the final two slots in the First Round draw.

Going into the First Round here will be:

The draw is going to take place on Sunday 11th October, 7pm GMT / 1pm CST. Immediately after the First Round Draw, the Second Round fixtures will also be drawn with the other 24 teams going into the pot with the potential winners of the First Round.

The First Round games will be played on Gameweek 5. Any replays will be played on GW6.
The Second Round games will be played on Gameweek 7. Any replays will be played on GW8.
After that there is another international break for the Premier League, during which we will draw the remaining 16 winners into a bracket for the Third Round all the way to The Final. Simple enough? I hope so.
