Just five more games to go now; fifteen points available.
We have three of nine promotion spots guaranteed. Wives’ Fave are one point from promotion too. The battle for Third Place is still hot in the Championship and in League Two, and next season’s Champions League places are still being fought over too. There are also three teams dangerously close to dropping into the relegation zone…
Gameweek 34 will also see League One’s Gloopy Yarbles take on Bigger than Brolin of the Premier League in the Spring Cup Final.

Gameweek 33
All Star Gunners 39-17 Tralfamadore Zoo FC
Bigger Than Brolin 15-23 AC Reykjavik CobbleHill
Mighty fine feeling 22-35 The Money Team
Smash & Grab 38-17 Boss
Vanishing Spray FC 39-40 FC Santa Barbara
It might be argued that the most newsworthy thing in the Premier League this week is that since AC Reykjavik CobbleHill were relegated they have won two big games on the trot. First they beat title-challengers Mff and then the prizemoney-chasing Bigger than Brolin. The results have shaken up the top of the table, giving Smash & Grab and The Money Team real hope of sealing first and third respectively. Money will be the next to face the fallen while Mff, now just six points (and loadsa FP) above them play a FC Santa Barbara side preparing for midtable mediocrity in the final few games.
Moving down the table, Vanishing Spray face the league leaders hoping that S&G have taken their foot off the pedal now that they are six points clear at the summit. It’s too early to say that Smash can walk across the line from here, especially as they lost to VSFC last time out, 56-53, and lost to their GW35 opponents – second-placed Mff – last time too.
Two points below Spray, Boss will be playing All Star Gunners with both teams desperate to move up a place. Boss have been in the relegation zone since Week Six. Of those 27 miserable gameweeks, they have been within three points of Seventh Place 17 times, but never managed to capitalise the following week. They could change that with a win this weekend, but may have to settle for keeping pace with Spray until the two meet in GW37.

East Loop United 25-21 GoFYS FC
Hung Like a Bony 28-47 SB Town Baggers
Route 57 FC 18-13 Cornballers
Sporting Wicker Park 34-29 Banana Swans
stilluvQPR 38-0 AFC Chester
With their lowest winning score of the season, 10 FP less than the next-worst, Route 57 got confirmation this week of their promotion to the Premier League! Still holding the highest FPts tally in the Championship, and prevailing through the third-toughest schedule (going on FPts Against), R57 are now guaranteed a top-two place but will have to wait at least a couple more weeks before they can see if they can clinch the division. That said, SB Town Baggers are still well within reach of top spot and could easily claw back some of that deficit before they play R57 in GW37. SB Town have won all three league games against both of their next two opponents and will be expecting six points before they face AFC Chester again. Chester, who were victorious over SB Town the last two times they have met, were the victims of a website error this week and are entitled to a League review that may reverse their loss to promotion-hopefuls stilluvQPR.
At the other end of the table, just two points separate Hung like a Bony and East Loop United in seventh and eighth. They play each other this week and the winner will sit above the red line going into the final four games. Hung have won two of these three meetings this season, but have only won once in their last six games. Meanwhile, ELU are in better form having won their last two – a 4-pt win against relegation-bound Banana Swans and a 4-pt win over promotion-bound GoFYS. Swans this week face top-of-the-League R57 and GoFYS play Sporting Wicker Park, who aren’t entirely safe from relegation either.

Gameweek 33
Goleta Hotspur 31-35 Gloopy Yarbles
Harambe Hotspur F.C. 30-21 Wijnaldum Leviosa
Sugar Daddies 21-19 RelicFC
The Globes FC 24-25 Chicken and Bacon Sane
Webuiltthis City 31-38 BattleVAR Galáctico
For the fifth week in a row the top two had identical results and for the third week in a row Gloopy Yarbles opened up the gap between themselves and Wijnaldum Leviosa. With five games left, Leviosa have a lot to do if they stand a chance of automatic promotion, however, if they can beat Web City then they will keep the pressure on and won’t have to face the top three again this season. Gloopy Yarbles still have to face the two teams above them and also have a Cup Final to prepare for. For all it’s faults, Fantrax does bless us with the ability to see the squads in other divisions (thank goodness!) so Gloopy will be presented with the opportunity to adjust their line-up for a more important game.
Down in the danger zone, we haven’t had any sides relegated from League One yet, but The Globes and Sugar Daddies have very difficult games this week against the teams in second and third. The two teams above the red line, BattleVAR and Chicken and Bacon Sane, play each other this weekend with the winner potentially earning their place in League One for another season, and the loser facing a fight for survival against Harambe and Co.

Cumberland FC 19-43 Sorry not so sorry
Housewives Favourite 34-23 Jaysokker
Klopps and Robbers 34-19 Atletico Topo Chico
Ole’s at the Wheel 30-16 Fossvogur FC
The El Dude Brothers 39-43 Bielsaball
Housewives Favourite increased their win streak to six and would’ve won promotion with that victory were it not for Klopps & Robbers returning to winning ways and regaining fourth place. So the Best-ish leaders just need one more League point to send them up to League One and could do it this weekend if they avoid a loss to eighth-placed Bielsaball. K&R have been sitting outside of the top three since GW5 but are now within a win of reclaiming it and this weekend they play The El Dude Brothers who currently occupy that spot. Unfortunately for K&R, Bros have beaten them on all three occasions so far and if they do it again that could put third place out of reach.
Second-placed Ole’s at the Wheel are still locked in a struggle with Bros, but their win over Foss last week gave them the advantage one week before they meet the team immediately below them. Depending on results this week, that meeting between Ole’s and Bros could be entered into with Bros in fourth and fighting to regain an automatic place, or, it could see the pair level on points, maybe also equal on fantasy points too.

The 2021 Champions League Reserve Teams
The Super Cup will be played in GW35 between the Winter Cup winners (stilluvQPR) and the Spring Cup winners (Bigger than Brolin or Gloopy Yarbles). The winner of that game will receive a place in the 2021 Champions League next September.
If Tralfamadore Zoo (the Champions League holders) or the Super Cup Winners also occupy a CL-qualifying league place at the end of the season, the open place will be given to the Super Cup losers. If the SC losers finish in the top 3 in their league as well (or 4th in the PL or Championship), the free space will go to the top Bestish team that hasn’t yet qualified.
So, if the season were to end today and a space was available, Wijnaldum Leviosa would be that team. Closely behind them right now are K&R (1330 FPts), stilluvQPR (1285 FPts), The El Dude Bros (1257 FPts), GoFYS FC (1255 FPts) and Ole’s at the Wheel (1254 FPts).
