Premier League

😲 Eye-Catching Stuff:
• Route 57 bounce back two places to sixth, now just a win behind fourth. Only nine points separate fourth and tenth.
• Gloopy continue to a fourth win in a row, beating fourth-placed Smash & Grab for a third consecutive time.
• El Dude Bros edge closer to becoming the 32nd BFFA team to join the 10,000 club. They are just twenty-one points shy of hitting that milestone.

Championship

😲 Eye-Catching Stuff:
• De Bruyne Trousers100th League game was a difficult one against a seasoned ASG side that are pushing on third place. This week, ASG became the eighth team to raise 15,000 league matchpoints in BFFA competitions when Bruno Fernandes netted at Goodison Park. DBT, who have the best win record of any team (min. 100 games) – 62.4%, took it all the way with four players in the Liverpool v Man City fixture and came from nine points behind to win by fifteen in the final game.
Whiskey De Bruyne‘s 100th League game took them close to a much needed win, but 34 wasn’t enough to close the gap on eighth-and-safe. Bigger than Brolin took the three points nd continue the fight to stay in the Championship.
Uncle Monty surprised Barons with a cheeky late win over the side in third. Those three points move them out of the relegation zone on FPts.

League One

😲 Eye-Catching Stuff:
Peltier – they were Team of the Week in Gameweeks 5, 6 and 17. This week they’re ToTW for a fourth time, top in The Big One, and now they’re Best-ish #1 too! What a week! AFC Chester didn’t have a chance. It’s been heartache for them recently – scoring well but finding themselves up against better outfits. Their 6-game winning streak was broken. Tough times.
The Phenoms regain fourth place at the expense of SkyPlayer, and move three points closer to third.
Goleta break off a month-long dry spell with a first win over Slots Fired, but didn’t close any ground on StillluvQPR who also won this week.

League Two

😲 Eye-Catching Stuff:
• We have a new leader in League Two for the first time in 14 gameweeks!
Harambe Hotspur’s 300th game in the BFFA ended in a low-scoring defeat for the 9th-seasoners.
BattleVAR got their 100th BFFA win in style by beating the league leaders, the league’s topscorers, the week’s second-best scoring team. Wow! It was looking like it would go to Boudi’s Crew as long as Gakpo stayed on the bench (to prevent LaCroix (9 FPts) from coming on). However, it became a real battle in the final game between Mo Salah & Szoboszlai. As it worked out, both scored and assisted the other, and the match was ultimately decided by Isak’s 3BP from the earlier game against Forest. Thrilling stuff!
• Tino’s Legacy lost by a single point, perhaps that second bonus point for Max Kilman. He was one of three that gained 2BP, thus, if he had gone a single BPS point less then he would have gone without both BP and Tino would’ve won! Narrowest of margins, six point swing.
• And, in case you missed it, Shams Army are top for the first time since GW10. That’s what they deserve after chasing the Boudi for the last sixteen weeks and ICYMI – going EIGHT unbeaten! Next up – a possible title-decider and Shams on for a Grand Slam. It’s going to be an incredible midweek barnburner!

Dynasty League

😲 Eye-Catching Stuff:
• Rot-Weiss Barefoot move on to seven consecutive wins, 12 from the last 13, and create a small gap at the top.
• TrevAI/The Phenoms played their 100th BFFA game this weekend and found Mikkel Damsgaard in great form for HJC/Slots Fired. However, Lewis Hall had an even better day against Forest, and Daniel Munoz scored the only goal in the matchup, giving TrevAI a big win and a lift upto fourth.
• With a pair of Peltier/Peltier wins this weekend, the L1 promotion hopefuls collected their 100th BFFA win in all competitions…by the narrowest of margins!

The Belyea Memorial Cup

Welcome back to The Belyea Memorial Cup!
“Rewarding Excellence in Its Many Forms”
Everyone is a winner (except one).

In rememberance of a former BFFA manager, fantasy football hero, Liverpool fan, father and friend to many. We are grateful that he was a part of our league and touched so many lives.

The game is simple – if you get the best score of the remaining teams, you escape.
Each week at least one team gets out, sometimes more, because they are excellent!

Twelve become eleven, and this week we had to plummet to tenth-best to find the next team out of the game. This week, ATC exit with a very credible 50 fantasy points.

Remaining:11 teams
AFC Chester (47 FPts)
Bigger Than Brolin (40)
East Loop United FC (20)
GoFYSFC (26)
Harambe Hotspur (19)
Partey Time FC (23)
Sporting Wicker Park (40)
StillluvQPR (46)
Tino’s Legacy (38, again)
Vanishing Spray FC (40)
Whiskey De Bruyne (34)

The Big One

It’s the BFFA Big One. The tried and tested (albeit inferior) traditional form of English Fantasy Football
that requires each manager to build a team with a budget of £150 million.

These teams must have no more than three players from the same PL club, excessive transfers are penalised by point deductions, and everyone gets a Haaland (if they want one).

Every team also gets to pick a Captain and there are bonus chips to play across the season.
This is a classic-style fantasy league, open to all BFFA managers past and present.

Last season The Big One was won by Prestige Worldwide, a subsidiary of The Premier League’s El Dude Bros, and The One Cup was won by Alleviate the Tedium.
