😲 Eye-Catching Stuff:
• The table remains in the same order this week after the top five all won their respective matches. All five also won this fixture last time (GW14).
• League leaders Gloopy Yarbles enjoyed a comeback win over Route 57. When Huijsen came on for the benched Tsimikas at the end of the gameweek, there was nothing R57 could do to stop the Bournemouth defender’s game-winning clean sheet points.
• In another 100-pointer, goalkeeper-less Mighty Fine outmuscled Semenyo and Szoboszlai to keep themselves a point behind Housewives Favourite as they go into their six-pointer next weekend.

Championship
😲 Eye-Catching Stuff:
• Atletico Topo Chico get a massive boost and take over Barons as the second-placed team in the Championship. They could’ve gone top this week, but Gvardiol, Salah & Ndiaye (again) keep De Bruyne Trousers a point above.
• All Star Gunners came back from 32-3 down on Saturday night to win by eight and climb upto fourth.
• Whiskey De Bruyne end their hellish run of form with a four-point win over bottom side GoFys. With BtB and Uncle Monty both losing this weekend, an escape from the drop zone could be back on the cards.
• Fans of German side IB Lausig are ecstatic to see their side re-enter the top five for the first time since GW5. Back-to-back wins over the two Chris’ extends their unbeaten run to seven and brings them back into contention for the playoffs.

League One
😲 Eye-Catching Stuff:
• There were two topscoring teams this week. One of them were the League One leaders Alleviate the Tedium. They continued their promotion push with double-figure scores from Ouattara, Szoboszlai and Kluivert. The Bournemouth pair alone could have beaten Goleta this weekend. The extra 39 points were just excess.
• The topscoring team overall in League One, Peltier, had a narrow escape in a low-scoring rematch with Borussia Teeth. As pointed out by a fellow Dynasty manager – had De Ligt played for another three minutes, he would’ve come off with a clean sheet and taken the win away from Peltier.
• The Phenoms close in on third place with a third consecutive win over Slots Fired. A standout performance from Cody Gakpo gives them the win and a 12-matchpoint swing.
🫣 Next Week’s One to Watch:

League Two
😲 Eye-Catching Stuff:
• Tino’s Legacy win a big match against closest rivals Sporting KhilMaan. Kluivert and Haaland did most of the damage, and help add another 30 matchpoints in the gap between them.
• Boudi’s Crew and Shams Army both win and keep it level at the top of the table, but if it wasn’t for headline-grabbing performances for Ouattara and Calafiori, either/both teams could’ve lost to their injury-hit opponents.
• Finally there’s some good news for high-scoring BattleVAR Galactico. With a week-topper of 72FPts, they move up a place and three points closer to their (distant) opponents.

Dynasty League
😲 Eye-Catching Stuff:
• Drama in the aftermath of the gameweek saw the match between Haven’t Jota Clue and Peltier change hands several times after the final whistle. Calafiori came on for Peltier to replace Djed Spence. That should’ve given Peltier enough for the win, but a points recalculation added two points in favour of the league leaders, giving them a ¼-point win. However, a further correction gave Peltier one more point, and a ¾-point victory!
• Tino’s Legacy slip up against Wonder Struijk, breaking their 5-game win streak. The former loses two places, the latter gains two.
• Vanishing Spray are also celebrating a big step up, breaking their 5-game losing streak with a second win over Waikauri Bay FC.

The Belyea Memorial Cup
Welcome back to The Belyea Memorial Cup!
“Rewarding Excellence in Its Many Forms”
Everyone is a winner (except one).
In rememberance of a former BFFA manager, fantasy football hero, Liverpool fan, father and friend to many. We are grateful that he was a part of our league and touched so many lives.
The game is simple – if you get the best score of the remaining teams, you escape.
Each week at least one team gets out, sometimes more, because they are excellent!
Rarely at this stage in the season do we get a Belyea exiteer that’s also the Team of the Week, but in Gameweek 23 BattleVAR Galactico (who is an impressive 11th in the Best-ish rankings) finally got out of there and can enjoy the rest of the season free from the fear of the Belyea.
It should also be noted also that last week’s leavers Alleviate the Tedium, also topscored this week after coming second just a few days ago.
14 remain.

The Big One
It’s the BFFA Big One. The tried and tested (albeit inferior) traditional form of English Fantasy Football
that requires each manager to build a team with a budget of £150 million.
These teams must have no more than three players from the same PL club, excessive transfers are penalised by point deductions, and everyone gets a Haaland (if they want one).
Every team also gets to pick a Captain and there are bonus chips to play across the season.
This is a classic-style fantasy league, open to all BFFA managers past and present.
Last season The Big One was won by Prestige Worldwide, a subsidiary of The Premier League’s El Dude Bros, and The One Cup was won by Alleviate the Tedium.
This week’s top teams:
1) Lingardium Weviosa
82 Fantasy Points
2) De Bruyne Trousers
77 FPts
3) Smoky Bacon Athletic
73 FPts
4) Prestige Worldwide
66 FPts
5) Never N’Dyioubt
