Premier League

😲 Eye-Catching Stuff:
Route 57 obliterate the opposition with the score of the week, 15 matchpoints better than the field.
• Sporting Wicker Park take a heavy fall in the super-tight Premier League midtable. Vanishing Spray reap the rewards. Smash and El Dude Bros also pick up a benefit.
Smash & Grab avenge the 50-46 GW9 loss and pinch a two-point win from second-placed Wives Fave. Smash go up one, Gloopy now 12 clear at the top and Wives Fave veulnerable again to being caught by MFF.

🫣 Next Week’s One to Watch:
Vanishing Spray FC -v- mighty Fine
5th -v- 3rd // GW1: 32 – 37 // GW10: 53 – 54

Championship

😲 Eye-Catching Stuff:
De Bruyne Trousers and Barons both win and remain neck-and-neck at the top.
Uncle Monty nearly double ATC’s 26, after losing 24-27 to them last time out. ATC step back to fourth.
IB Lausig survive a late-gameweek assault from BtB’s three Arsenal players, climb over their opponents and upto sixth.

🫣 Next Week’s One to Watch:
Barons -v- Bigger than Brolin
2nd -v- 7th // GW1: 38 – 50 // GW10: 44 – 17

League One

😲 Eye-Catching Stuff:
• Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s nine matchpoints gave Slots Fired the boost they needed to reclaim top spot, ending Alleviate the Tedium’s 12-week reign at the top.
The Phenoms‘ up-and-down December continues with another reversal of fortune. The most recent win lifts them upto fourth and Stillluv (who only lost by one point to The Phenoms in GW9) slip down again.
• The blessed points differential gave East Loop United a different sort of win this week. Bernardo Silva’s opener against Everton wasn’t enough to give them three points, but did give them enough to move up a place as StillluvQPR struggled again.

🫣 Next Week’s One to Watch:
East Loop United FC -v- Alleviate the Tedium
8th -v- 2nd // GW1: 37 – 30 // GW10: 36 – 47

League Two

😲 Eye-Catching Stuff:
AI-Jiggery-Pokery get a valuable win in their quest to return to the top half. They survived Duran’s red card thanks to bonus points from Verbruggen, Gordon and Saliba. Watkins came off the bench with one point to give AI-J-P a one-point win.
• More heroics from Kepa Arrizabalaga gave Partey Time reason to celebrate this Christmas. They squeeze three points out of Tino’s Legacy and also push closer to the leading pack.
BattleVAR Galactico, who are far too low for a team scoring as well as they are, climb back to eighth with a groundshaking win over second-placed Sporting KhilMann.

🫣 Next Week’s One to Watch:
Sporting KhilMaan -v- Boudi’s Crew
3rd -v- 1st // GW1: 45 – 51 // GW10: 35 – 32

Dynasty League

😲 Eye-Catching Stuff:
• Rot-Weiß Erfurt are unofficially the BFFA’s in-form team after a fifth consecutive win midweek. They climb a place for the fouth time in those five gameweeks and regain second.
• The rise of Gloopy Yarbles has begun. Their (admittedly low-scoring) win over Waikauri brings them to within a win of 7th and could close the gap on Van Spray if they get that win next Wednesday.
Tino’s Legacy thrash prize-chasing rivals Peltier with more than double their score, return to level pegging for third.

🫣 Next Week’s One to Watch:
Gloopy Yarbles -v- Vanishing Spray
9th -v- 6th // GW1: 66 – 96 // GW10: 86.5 – 112.5

The Belyea Memorial Cup

Welcome back to The Belyea Memorial Cup!
“Rewarding Excellence in Its Many Forms”
Everyone is a winner (except one).

In rememberance of a former BFFA manager, fantasy football hero, Liverpool fan, father and friend to many. We are grateful that he was a part of our league and touched so many lives.

The game is simple – if you get the best score of the remaining teams, you escape.
Each week at least one team gets out, sometimes more, because they are excellent!

For the third time this season Peltier claim the top score of the week and, yet again, the Belyea gift (the gift that keeps on giving!) goes to the next-best team of the week. This gameweek, League One Champions Uncle Monty take their leave just in time for Christmas.

The Big One

It’s the BFFA Big One. The tried and tested (albeit inferior) traditional form of English Fantasy Football
that requires each manager to build a team with a budget of £150 million.

These teams must have no more than three players from the same PL club, excessive transfers are penalised by point deductions, and everyone gets a Haaland (if they want one).

Every team also gets to pick a Captain and there are bonus chips to play across the season.
This is a classic-style fantasy league, open to all BFFA managers past and present.

Last season The Big One was won by Prestige Worldwide, a subsidiary of The Premier League’s El Dude Bros, and The One Cup was won by Alleviate the Tedium.
