Premier League

😲 Eye-Catching Stuff:
El Dude Bros smashed it this week. Top overall score and climbed three places!
Vanishing Spray also climbed three spots in the quagmire that is the Premier League’s lower order.
• The top three all won, opening a space between the prize places and the rest.

Championship

😲 Eye-Catching Stuff:
Barons won the promotion-battle face off, now four points clear of their opponents. Top two remain level on points. That win means that Barons are now one win away from another Grand Slam.
Uncle Monty got their second win in three, fighting to escape the relegation zone. Unfortunately for them, the two above also won.

5th -v- 2nd // GW6: 51 – 27
Barons got thrashed in GW6, but now are one win away from completing a 9-win streak and possibly taking first place.

League One

😲 Eye-Catching Stuff:
• Amazingly, all five games were won by the teams lower in the league!
The Phenoms are back to winning ways with victory in the push-for-third six-pointer.
• Alleviate the Tedium shocked by Goleta Hotspur. Peltier unable to take advantage, losing a tight game against Borussia Teeth.

League Two

😲 Eye-Catching Stuff:
• Sporting KhilMaan’s win streak comes to an end. Thrashed by Tino’s Legacy, who claim an important three points in their quest to close the gap on Jaysokker in fourth.
• Jaysokker lose to Shams Army again (after scoring 34, again), this time by just a single point.
Boudi’s Crew now alone at the top with a comfortable win over tenth-placed Harambe.

The BFFA Dynasty League

Rot-Weiß Barefoot have scored over 120 FPts in each of the last three gameweeks, Mo Salah has scored 75 for them in that time.
The mighty HJC made a rare slip, returning just shy off 100 points, but a full 39 less than Peltier who are now level with TrevAI in second.
And Vanishing Spray, who previously lost by two then won by two, got a move comfortable win this week.

The Belyea Memorial Cup

Welcome back to The Belyea Memorial Cup!
“Rewarding Excellence in Its Many Forms”
Everyone is a winner (except one).

In rememberance of a former BFFA manager, fantasy football hero, Liverpool fan, father and friend to many. We are grateful that he was a part of our league and touched so many lives.

The game is simple – if you get the best score of the remaining teams, you escape.
Each week at least one team gets out, sometimes more, because they are excellent!

Top score of the week was claimed by El Dude Bros with 70 fantasy points. They win this week’s Belyea and Team of the Week too.

The Big One

It’s the BFFA Big One. The tried and tested (albeit inferior) traditional form of English Fantasy Football that requires each manager to build a team with a budget of £150 million.
These teams must have no more than three players from the same PL club, excessive transfers are penalised by point deductions, and everyone gets a Haaland (if they want one).

Every team also gets to pick a Captain and there are bonus chips to play across the season. This is a classic-style fantasy league, open to all BFFA managers past and present.

Last season The Big One was won by Prestige Worldwide, a subsidiary of The Premier League’s El Dude Bros, and The One Cup was won by Alleviate the Tedium.

On top of hosting a league for the BFFA faithful, we are also involving some unsuspecting stars of the game in our classic league. This week:

There was yet another dramatic high-scoring game between Newcastle United and Liverpool this week. In the middle of it all, Anthony Gordon got the better of Joe Gomes (not for the first time) and gave his second-half strike just enough power to put the soaking wet ball past Caoimhín Kelleher to make it 2-1. The game finished 3-3 and “Johnny Drama” earned himself a bonus point.

Not only did Mr. G put himself into his own starting XI, but Off the rack also included the other two Newcastle goalscorers – Schär and Isak. He captained Ollie Watkins – 2x [60+mins, goal, assist, 3BP], Rogers [goal & 1BP] and Henderson [GK CS & 1BP] and finished the gameweek with an incredible 80FPts, more than any of us!
