A season-high average score across the leagues this week, and two games bettered the 131 total set by Smash & Gloopy back in GW6.
Here are the latest results.

Gameweek 26 // The Belyea // The Big One
Team of the Week:
Smash & Grab
83 Points
Score of the Season:
Hung Like a Bony – 87 FPts (GW7)
Game of the Season:
Smash & Grab 83 – 58 Farkelife (GW25)
Premier League
π² Eye-Catching Stuff:
β’ We said last week that Farkelife v Smash & Grab could be a thriller. We weren’t disappointed. The game set a new matchscore high of 141 FPts
β’ Big changes around the top of the league, but S&G keep a grip on top spot.
π«£ The One to Watch:
Route 57 FC -v- Housewives Favourite – 4th -v- 3rd
GW 8: 37 – 31 // GW 17: 28 – 37
A point apart, three off the top, both throwing their grappling hooks up high. They’ve taken three points off each other already, the next three will be crucial.
Championship
π² Eye-Catching Stuff:
β’ Hung and Chester set a new match highscore for the season (136), only to be bettered in the same week by Smash and Farkelife.
β’ Wins for Spray, Cullen and Fergi move them up the league.
π«£ The One to Watch:
Fergi Time -v- Cullen the herd – 5th -v- 4th
GW 8: 25 – 69 // GW 17: 38 – 56
Despite losing heavily to Cullen the herd twice already, Fergi Time will arrive at the rendez-vouz as the form team in the league, while Cullen just won their first game in six with a sub-average score for the week. Winning this six-pointer could slingshot Fergi Time right back into the play-off chase.
League One
π² Eye-Catching Stuff:
β’ StillluvQPR chalk up the best score in the league and turn a potentially disasterous game into a relegation-zone-escape opportunity.
β’ The two lowest scores in the league came in at The CG Stadium with a one-point win for CG XI, miraculously giving them a rise up the table and a shot at moving into the top half.
π«£ The One to Watch:
Whiskey De Bruyne -v- Chicken and Bane San – 3rd -v- 5th
GW 8: 23 – 38 // GW 17: 26 – 25
With the top two on hot form, this difficult tie could make or break Whiskey De Bruyne. C&BS on the other hand have 3 wins from the last 4 and were perhaps unlucky not to win last weekend.
League Two
π² Eye-Catching Stuff:
β’ Jaysokker stole a win from Harambe with a van Dijk second-half goal in the re-arranged game on Wednesday night. Jaysokker step up to second.
β’ Ole’s at the Wheel matched their all-time top score and moved up two places. They also left thirteen potential FPts on the bench…
π«£ The One to Watch:
Alleviate the Tedium -v- Goleta Hotspur – 4th -v- 3rd
GW 8: 55 – 48 // GW 17: 34 – 32
It’s getting scrappy again in the top half of the table and Alleviate & Goleta are right in the thick of it. The two previous meetings have both gone the way of the newcomers, who are on a great run of form – taking 13 points from their last five games.

The Belyea Cup
Welcome back to The Belyea Memorial Cup, ‘Rewarding Excellence in Its Many Forms’, where everyone is a winner (except one).
The game is simple – if you get the best score of the remaining teams, you escape.
Each week at least one team gets out, sometimes more, because they are excellent!
β² You get up to 38 gameweeks to remove yourself from consideration. β²
The last team to be eliminated… gets the Belyea Cup. βΌπβΌ
If there’s more than one team left after the final gameweek then they all, you know, jointly receive this unique award!
This week Fergi Time got their best score since May 2022 – 75 Points – and with only Smash and Hung scoring more, Fergi Time stamp their ticket and wave goodbye.
13 lucky entrants remain.
Week Twenty-Six: 13 teams remain –
Barons, Route 57 FC, A.F.C. Chester, Vanishing Spray FC, BattleVAR Galactico, FC Santa Barbara, Uncle Monty, Whiskey de Bruyne, Boudi’s Crew, Harambe Hotspur, Jaysokker, Ole’s at the wheel, The Phenoms.
The Big One
It’s the BFFA Big One. The tried and tested (albeit inferior) traditional form of English Fantasy Football that requires each manager to build a team with a budget of Β£150,000,000. These teams must have no more than three players from any PL club, excessive transfers are penalised by point deductions, and everyone gets a Haaland (if they want one).
Every team also gets to pick a Captain and there are bonus chips to play across the season – two Wildcards, a Bench Boost, a Free Hit and Triple Captain points. This is a classic-style fantasy league, open to all BFFA managers past and present.
This week’s top scorers:
Prestige Worldwide – 96 FPts
Lingardium Weviosa – 83 FPts
Peltier – 81 FPts
De Bruyne Worldwide – 81 FPts
Alleviate the Tedium – 80 FPts
On top of hosting a league for the BFFA faithful, we are also involving some unsuspecting stars of the game in our classic league. Last week, Harvey Barnes. This week, one of his former teammates, one who happened to assist Harvey in consecutive games a few years ago. Last week he got another two assists in one game. Still at Leicester City but anticipating a return to the Premier League, ladies and gents… Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
KDH has got ten goals and twelve assists so far this season and it looks like it’s going to be a speedy return to the Premier League for Leicester City. In between gracing the parks of England, he is managing an FPLteam called MurderOnZidanesFloor. He is currently ninth in the famous Bandits League that features the last two weeks’ guests – Ben Foster and Harvey Barnes – against Leicester City favourites such as James Justin, Wes Morgan and Conor Coady, plus Premier League challengers Kieran Trippier, James Maddison, Manor Solomon and one more that will be joining The Big One next week.
Next week The Foxes will be playing AFC Bournemouth in the FA Cup Fifth Round. In the last round, Bournemouth knocked out Swansea with a 5-0 drubbing that saw one Welsh attacker create two assists and a goal too. Although he’s just been loaned out to Leicester’s & Bournemouth’s rivals Southampton, and already created another goal & two assists for them, he will be representing his loyal South Coast Cherries here next week.
