• Fergi Time’s return to the big time was set back another week after matching AFC Chester’s effort. Either sub ‘keeper could’ve won the game, but both teams will rue the missed opportunity.
• Huge scores from Guimarães and Co. give Spray a huge win and makes it a three-horse race again.

After the heavy defeat in GW7, Chester returned and retook their three points back. This weekend they come into the game on a good run of form, unbeaten in three and hitting above average scores in all of them. They face the new league leaders looking for satisfaction after a disappointing draw.

Welcome back to The Belyea Memorial Cup, ‘Rewarding Excellence in Its Many Forms’, where everyone is a winner (except one).
The game is simple – if you get the best score of the remaining teams, you escape.
Each week at least one team gets out, sometimes more, because they are excellent!

Although 13^th in the Best-ish standings, originals and all-time top pointscorers Sporting Wicker Park are somehow still in the Belyea. But no longer. A top score of 70 was the best of all this week and eliminates them from the competition. Well played.
