The Belyea Cup

Welcome back to The Belyea Memorial Cup, Rewarding Excellence in Its Many Forms, where everyone is a winner, except one.
The game is simple – if you get the best score of the remaining teams, you escape.
Each week at least one team gets out, sometimes more, because they are excellent.

You get 38 chances to remove yourself from consideration.
The last team to be eliminated… gets the Belyea Cup. If there’s more than one team left after the final gameweek then they all, you know, jointly receive this unique award!

With a standalone topscore of 68, League Two’s Shams army are the second team to be eliminated. Well done.

The Big One

It’s the BFFA Big League. The tried and tested (albeit inferior) traditional form of English Fantasy Football requires each manager to build a team with a budget of £150,000,000. This team must have no more than three players from any PL club, and excessive transfers are penalised by points deductions.

Twenty of us have graciously decided to give it a go. Some names will be familiar, some names will get a song stuck in your head. One name will serve as an omen over a certain Everton centre-forward’s prospects of starting any given week. This is the all-in Classic Fantasy League table.
