EYE CATCHING!
–PREM: Top 4 teams win but only an 8 point gap separates the top 6. East Loop is fading a bit and will have to gut it out to compete for a CL position. Wicker vs Spray this weekend should prove to be interesting, with Wicker most definitely remaining on top of the table no matter the result, though they could extend their lead up top with 3 points.
–CHAMPIONSHIP: Chucky doing their best to try and keep pace but it will be difficult to catch S&G at this point. The fight for survival is getting nasty. Keep your eye on that. What I mean is pretend the bottom four are a Cindy Crawford poster on your bedroom wall in 1993. Girls, pretend it’s a Hasselhoff poster from the same era.
–LEAGUE 1: Sing the following to the tune of The Macarena: “Whoaaaaah…Banterlona!” Back on top, they are. And only 4 points separate the top 6. Really, there are 9 teams alive for promotion here.
–LEAGUE 2: Another case of #2 trying to keep pace with #1 but it’s going to be a tough task. Though, I believe they play each other this week, so here is Chester’s chance. That sounds like a really bad movie with a talking dog and his sidekick kitten, Kiki: “Chester’s Chance.” I’d wait until it comes out on video, if they still do that. Sexpats climb into a potential CL position, but 4-10 remains highly competitive and we expect some accordion-like movement down there.
