EYE CATCHING!
–PREM: While FCSB extends it lead in the Prem (largest divisional lead of the year?) the bottom three lose (Cornballers just cannot catch a break), widening the gap between them and the rest of the field.
–CHAMPIONSHIP: S&G is playing angry, plain and simple. There’s now a 10 point gap between #5 and #6, potentially setting up two separate races as we inch toward the second half of the season. We thought this division would be much more tightly contested than it is. We were wrong.
–LEAGUE 1: FC Banterlona responds to midweek criticism and regains the divisional lead here. But it’s really crowded at the top and who the hell knows what LG1 will look like at the halfway point.
–LEAGUE 2: Same ‘ol, same ‘ol up top here, with three teams now in the clear. It’s scrappy in the middle, though and with the addition of Simon taking the reigns of the bottom squad things could get even scrappier before everything is said and done.
