Sometimes you live your whole life with the tendons and bone parts granted you at birth, sometimes you emerge from the pitch of life a surgical quilt of broken dreams and pig ligaments. And with that, without further ado, Gameweek 11 Results.
Premier League
Everyone keeps trying to tackle Brolin, but the BtB continues to ghost past the opposition. Has to be said, Smash’s limp 35 made for easy passage this week but that’s by the by. Brolin leads the league by 5 points, while Money remains in second, defeating the even limper 30 points on offer from Vanishing Spray. The aforementioned Smash and Vanishing, with Reykjavik BayCobblers, form a three-team bloc on 18 that rounds out the top 5. BayCobblers edged past Bigo1 in a 45-44 loss that must have been gutting for the latter. Although Bigo does well in Bestish, the team sits in last place… Beware.
Championship
Mighty fine feeling and Boss’ Blues co-lead on 24 points, MFF topping the table by virtue of Bestish, defeating SB Town Baggers in a high-scoring 54-46 duel, although Blues scored a pretty monster haul themselves in the week’s 67-32 decimation of Goleta Hotspur. Hotspur drops to fourth, swapping places with All Star Gunners who narrowly beat Sporting Wicker to take third. GoFYS thrashed Relic and stays level with GH on league points.
League One
Vonnegut continues to bless the faithful. (“Those who believe in telekinetics, raise my hand.”) The Zoo leads with 24, followed by a trio chasing close on 21 points. StillluvQPR leads the three on Bestish, with Branwellington and Cornballers separated by 4 Bestish points. Of course, had Cornballers not been one-upped by two points against Granitza, they would be level on points for first. Fine margins. In the week’s most lopsided scoreline, Wijnaldum Leviosa tripled DC LFC’s score in a heavy, heartless 63-21 demolition.
League Two
Despite seeing its score doubled by in a 52-26 hammering by Harambe, Route 57 leads on 27 points. Cabezazo won to close the gap and capitalize on the loss, level with Bony on 24, while Bony lost to Glentoran to no longer be level with 57. TIger Tail Reta, with the week’s top score of 60, sits in fourth with 21. Cabezazo has 270 more Bestish points than Mourinho-lo. That’s a lot.
