I sit here typing with a grin on my face as my beloved Toffees have won 3 on the bounce in real life soccer. But my skipping gleefully around the house in my EFC underpants was stopped short because I realized there was much more important, fake-er football to be concerned with this weekend. Here is how shit went down Sat, Sun & Mon in BFFA:
Premier League
The Money Team knocked off Brolin to tighten the gap to 3 points at the top of the Mighty Prem. The Unicorn’s spoiled S&G’s weekend with a 1 pt margin, surely setting off a domestic for Florida police to handle. Between the hurricanes and all the other weird shit that state deals with on a daily basis, the last thing they need is an angry S&G manager. Of note: Reykjavik is making their move while Chucky can’t find their groove. Fuck yes that rhymed.
Championship
Mighty Fine Feeling had a statement weekend, putting up 64 against Wicker and hitting the 21 pt mark on top of the Champ. Swans and Gunners also came to life and got a couple of much-needed wins. A fairly tight division here if the bottom three can all grab a couple of W’s the next couple of weeks.
League One
The tightest division on top with three teams within a point of each other. Zoo continues to score points, points and then some more points. Don’t sleep on stillluvQPR and Granitza. They are consistently scoring points and will slide up the table if they can string together a few wins. Oh, and here comes Wijnaldum…again.
League Two
Well, now. Route57 is sitting pretty on top of Amazing Melon or whatever that means in Espanol. (I can’t even find a tilda on my keyboard, so what good am I? Don’t answer that.) Wait. Look at that Globes vs Cabezazo score. Whaaaaaaa?! Not sure I can add to anything here except, like in past years, it’s starting to feel like there are 3 teams who are daring to pull away from the pack. Will the likes of the Sugar Daddies and Harambe kick it in gear? Or will they take a nap?
