Season 5 – Gameweek 34 Results

The results are in!

Premier League

The last thing anyone wants is to watch one team run away with it and ruin all the excitement. This isn’t France! Luckily for us, there is plenty of drama to enjoy as The Spray close the gap to a single point with a narrow win over the League leaders. Close behind them Bigger than Brolin thrash Cup Finalists Smash & Grab and set-up potentially the greatest title race in years! BtB will play the top two in the final two weeks knowing that victory could give them the title.

Championship

The battle for the Championship title and promotion is also very much alive. The top two won (with very varying scores) but Mighty Fine Feeling found themselves up against an unmatchable 84 from the resurgent Goleta Hotspur. This has left Boss’ Blues on the edge of guaranteeing a top-two finish and Goleta level on points with seventh place. Not only that, but with SB Town’s win over Banana Swans, both are now very much involved in the fight for Championship survival too.

League One

With one promotion place already granted to The Zoo, there are just two more promotion tickets up for grabs and for the middle eight, those two promotion spots are still very much achievable. AFC Chester still lead the chasing group after an important win over fourth-placed Sting. Branwellington are also still looking good for a podium finish with their win this weekend that opened up some space between themselves and KH, and hold a narrow matchpoints advantage too.
The bad news for those nine League One-ers though is that none of them is safe from relegation, yet.

League Two

It’s that time of the season in League Two – we now know which three teams will be playing League One fantasy footy next season. But what we don’t know is which order they will be going up in. Hung LAB are back to winning ways with a win over bottom-of-the-league Gadagnome, Cabezazo Increíble took the win in a close game to increase their streak to eight and Route 57 smash Sugar Daddies 78-40! There’s four games left and plenty of time for a reshuffle.
