Premier League

Bigger Than Brolin beat League leaders The Money Team and close the gap to four. Vanishing Spray miss the opportunity to go top, instead they gifted three valuable points to a Chucky Pad Warriors who are desperate to stay up. Chucky climbed a place to ninth; East Loop in eighth also won in their battle to stay in the top flight and significantly – both 7th-placed FC Santa Barbara and 6th-placed Bigo1 lost and risk being sucked back into the maelstrom. Smash & Grab beat fellow Cup Semi-finalists FCSB and move up into the top half of the table.

Championship

In a battle of 1st v 3rd last weekend, Boss’ Blues beat ASG despite not scoring any goals. Assists from Digne, Barnes and Salah were enough to see off the League leaders on another off-week for the Gunners and move the Blues up to second. A poor performance from Lascelles undid all the hard work done by Mane and Jimenez and cost MFF their stronghold in second place, but gave Banana Swans the three points they needed to jump over Sporting Wicker Park and put some distance between themselves and the relegation zone. Just to make the final few weeks more “exciting” the bottom two teams won and get closer to seventh-and-safety.

League One

There are three separate races forming in Ligue Un. At the dangerous end of the ladder there are four teams fighting over seventh place – the bottom two lost last weekend but Gloopy got an important win over DC LFC and are now just one point behind them with a better matchpoints total.
Scrapping over the promotion places, five teams are separated by six points. Four of these five teams won their games including a big win for the Sting over Tralfamadore Zoo, ending the Zoo’s 8-game unbeaten run (which they had held since the last time they played KH!)
The final race in the group is whether or not the Zoo can beat last season’s points tally. Zoo 2018 finished on 86 points (W28 D2 L8); Zoo 2019 need another 20 points.

League Two

The only team in first place to win this weekend – Route 57 – are now only one point away from promotion but a long way from winning the title because they have two of the the top five Best-ish teams – Hung and Cabezazo – still chasing them down. That said, there’s still time for either of them to crumble and allow Glentoran, Sugar Daddies or TIger Tail to steal third place away from them. Finally, The Globes thrashed Hotspur, the team directly above them, with the best score of the week. Congrats.
