Premier League
The top four all won this week and continue as they were, but the gap between fourth and fifth opens up to six points. Bigger than Brolin broke their four-match losing streak with a second big win over FC Santa Barbara, The Money Team take a second win from Smash & Grab, Vanishing Spray got another three points against East Loop and AC Reykjavik beat the Unicorns again. Bigo1 beat Chucky Pad Warriors (also again) and leap over them into seventh. Who said the Premier League was predictable? Sssshh!
Championship
Boss’ Blues and All Star Gunners both hit 60 and stay exactly where they are at the top. ASG go into the Champions League Final this coming weekend on a nine-game high, five games longer than any other current winning streak. Intimidating.
Mighty Fine Feeling beat Sporting Wicker Park and stay third. PSV narrowly hold onto fourth, Seamus Coleman’s unfortunate own goal gave them an unexpected draw with GoFYS FC. Goleta Hotspur also won this week against bottom-of-the-League SB Town Baggers, despite Steve Cook’s -2pts.
League One
Tralfamadore Zoo are back on the win-wagon with the best score of the week, strong form going into the Champions League Final! The next biggest score was chalked up by bottom team DC LFC in their big 66-25 win. KH Granitza in 8th and Wijnaldum Leviosa in 9th both lost and now DC are only two points away from climbing up the table. AFC Chester won this week to move out of the sticky group and pull level with Gloopy Yarbles, who lost. Yer Man beat third-placed Branwellington FC by just three points which allowed stillluvQPR to climb up to second with their win over the Yarbles.
League Two
Tiger Tail have climbed from ninth to third this season thanks to a 10-game winning streak. That streak ended this week when they lost 58-42 to Route 57. They last time they’d lost…was to Route 57 in Gameweek 5. R57 are looking good for promotion now with the top League Two score-of-the-week and a big win. They increase their comfort zone to six points as Cabezazo lost to Harambe, who are now on a 4-game winning run themselves. Glentoran and Hung Like A Bony both won their games this week and are back in the race for the prize places. Finally, The Globes doubled Mourinho-lo’s score and are back level with Sugar Daddies. Good hustle.
