Draft Orders Live Draw & Transfer Freeze Reminder

Hello all of BFFA.

Welcome to the new managers. We lost 4 this season and have gained 14 to give us our fourth and final (famous last words…can you say “Conference”?) tier in the league. Along with some improvements from the RFF crew to the site and experience, this season is should be whatever word means “epic” but isn’t the overused word “epic”.

I took advantage of a small window of time this afternoon and drew the draft orders for all 4 divisions. Here it is:

Also, I wanted to remind all previous managers and get new managers up to speed on our league policy regarding BFFA transfer freezes during the English transfer windows. From the BFFA Rules page:

“Due to the global nature of BFFA and the multiple time zones in which our managers reside, we feel it is only fair to have a freeze of transfers (an option provided by RFF) so as to not allow new signings onto Premier League teams be on a first-come-first-served basis in BFFA. Instead, we freeze all transfers during the two English transfer windows that occur in the PL season.

The first is the FREEZE, where you play with your drafted team until the English transfer window closes on August 31st. At that time the new available PL players are picked up by the BFFA teams who have them in their transfer queue, with priority given to the current team in 10th place in the standings, then 9th place, and so on, upwards to the 1st place team.

The second is the DEEP FREEZE which follows the same format but is during the mid-season window in January. Once again a transfer freeze will be in place and teams will have to play with the players they currently have on their teams until the English transfer window closes and the transfer priority queue is set in motion again with the 10th place team having precedence.”

Thanks and let us know if you have any questions on the draft or the transfer window freezes. There are no silly questions. Just silly people who are afraid to ask questions. We’re here to help. Use us.
