The 1^st & 2^nd Round Draw Numbers

It’s almost time for the 2025 BFFA Cup!

Good evening all and happy holidays! Hope you’re all fit and well and enjoying the fantasy season so far.
We’re halfway through S.11 and the excitement is ramping up.

As always, all 40 teams will be entered into the tournament.
This season’s Cup begins in the first week of the new year – Gameweek 20, kicking off on Saturday 4th January. (Make sure you scan the waiver wire the day before!)

With kickoff fast approaching, we will soon set the fixtures for the first two rounds of the 2025 BFFA Cup. Sixteen teams will feature in the First Round Draw and the remaining twenty-four in the Second (plus space for the eight First Round winners). The numbers for both draws are below. Numbers 1-24 have been given to the teams who will by-pass the First Round and will join the competition in Round Two.

The First Round Draw

So the numbers for the 16 teams in the First Round Draw are:

Last season’s BFFA Cup was won by StillluvQPR, who went all the way from a 42-41 victory in Round One to beating #1-ranked HLAB with an incredible 66-24 in the Final. If they’re going to be defending their title in May, they’re going to have to go the whole hog once more. Also, keep an eye out for #31, last year’s runners-up, HLAB who will also be joining the tournament in GW20.

Whiskey De Bruyne and Atletico Topo Chico both currently sit joint 24th with the same matchpoints total (670 FPts). A tiebreaker was needed to decide who receives lot number 24. With a score of 45 in the last gameweek (GW18), Whiskey De Bruyne outscored ATC and they are awarded the last automatic route to the Second Round.

The Second Round Draw

So the top 24 teams in the Best-ish Table after yesterday’s deadline are as below:
