Still with three games left remaining, their 48-41 midweek victory has given RB Monty a guaranteed top-two place and consequentially – promotion to League One. It was their fourth win over Conte’s Cockerels giving them the maximum twelve points from their matchups.
Meanwhile, De Bruyne Trousers lost against Harambe and had to watch the leaders move out of reach. Second-placed Whiskey De Bruyne also won (completing a full set of nine-in-a-row), meaning that they still have a shout at the title, but at the same time are still susceptible to falling to third and possibly missing out on promotion. But we’ll see.
