Group A
CG XI take a good lead after one game with a big win and the best score of the group. Allison Wonderland set off in second place, just a nose behind, while MFF and SWP share third place by both losing on 32 points. Next week the two winners play each other, and the other two will scrap for a chance to steal second place.
Group B
Fergi TIme stroll to an opening day win over the League One Champions AFC Chester. Gloopy had a much tougher fight, winning out over PL rivals Barons by 4 FPts thanks largely to a double tenner from Salah and Groß.
Group C
Whiskey De Bruyne were the topscorers of Matchday One and take a deserved top spot tonight. Unfortunately for ATC, their second-best score within the group was not enough for a win, so they will have to settle for third place instead. Wives Fave, unbeaten this season, won in the CL & League with their score of 39 and Smash & Grab bring up the rear.
Again, next week sees winner versus winner and loser versus loser in MD2.
Group D
A very tight collective of Group D saw just 8 points separate all four teams this week. De Bruyne Trousers and Hung Like a Bony take the wins in the first games; they will face off next weekend. El Dude Bros and Uncle Monty set up a second fixture that looks like being very close.
