The Champions League
Sporting Wicker Park 36 – 27 Hung Like a Bony
While Alejandro Garnacho was stealing the headlines, Diogo Dalot was quietly soaking up the BPS points on the back of that point-perfect assist and earned himself maximum bonus points. Couple that with his clean sheet, his twelve point total gave Wicker Park a nine point advantage. Hung had been building a comeback against their Premier League opponents, through Pedro Porro’s assist and Ollie Watkins’ winner, but as United hushed Goodison Park, so too did Hung LaB fall quiet.
Gloopy Yarbles 41 – 29 De Bruyne Trousers
The current holders, still wiping their brows after squeezing through the Quarter-Finals on goals scored, racked up two more goals for their cause at St. James’ Park with Isak and Lascelles both scoring for the Magpies. De Bruyne Trousers, the last remaining debutants in this year’s Champions League, countered with a goal from a defender for themselves, also a pair of assists from Saka and Morris on Saturday, but little else. They will need to find a lot more points this weekend if they want to stop the champions returning to the Final.

The Intramural League
BattleVAR Galactico 54 – 33 Harambe Hotspur
It would take an almighty effort from the only League Two team in the Semis to turn around a 21-point deficit, but nothing is impossible here. The biggest turnaround in BFFA history is -15 (Peltier vs. El Dude Bros, 2022 CL QF). No other team has ever undone a double-figure disadvantage in the Second Leg, but Harambe have the quality to do it. They’ve twice been League Two runners-up, and they are third in L2 right now. They have just had an eight-game unbeaten streak broken by Alleviate the Tedium, while BattleVAR smashed FCSB 54-13.
BattleVAR, midtable in L1, have won their last two games against Harambe, but over the last nine gameweeks – BVAR have outscored HH 4x, been outscored 4x and matched them once. Could the Hotspurs match their huge win and take this to a replay…?
Route 57 FC 50 – 50 El Dude Bros
If you want a hot matchup, keep an eye on this game this weekend. Two high-scoring teams with nothing between them at this point. Plus, as league rivals, there’s no common players on the roster. This is a pure Draft Football SF. Route 57 are eyeing-up their second-consecutive IML Final, while El Dude Bros are looking to conjure up the spirit of 2022 where they went to two Finals, losing the CL by nine points, but winning the BFFA Cup by the same margin.
The two teams have met just the once before, R57 romping to victory in their Premier League meeting at the end of the first set, 52-30 in GW9. Douglas Luiz and Saka combining for twenty points sealed the three points for Route 57 four weeks ago. The pair brought roped in fifteen this week, but were overshadowed by Lo Celso (10) and Souček (8). At the other end of the park, El D.B. improved from that GW9 defeat and presented Kudus (10), Gibbs-White (12) and Gordon (13) to challenge for the place in the Final. With form like that, either team could take the next step.
