RULES
The “Hi-Time Liquor Champions League” will be held between October 3rd -December 12th. Participants will be the top 4 finishers (playoff teams) from each division last season. (Next year will be 12 teams from our 3 divisions.)
8 teams will be drawn into two groups of 4 and those teams will play each other twice. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the knockout rounds. In the knockout rounds, the teams will be drawn randomly and play a home and away series with the away total points rule. If the aggregate score of the two games is tied, then the team who scored more points at their opponent’s stadium wins. If the score is still tied after that, we go to total goals scored by the teams. After that assists. After that clean sheets. After that a coin toss.
When we get to the Champions League championship match-up it is only a single game to determine the winner.
