FORMAT:
Gameweeks 5 – 10
Group Stage – Four groups of four teams each.
Each team plays the other three in their group, once home & once away, over six consecutive weeks.
Top two in each group qualify for the Quarter-Finals.
Gameweeks 11 & 12
Quarter-Finals – 2 legs
Gameweeks 13 & 14
Semi-Finals – 2 legs
Gameweek 17
The Final is a single match-up, winner takes all!
TIEBREAKERS:
- Group Stages: if two teams are tied on table points then teams are separated first by total matchpoints scored, then total goals, total assists, total clean sheets, least red cards, least yellow cards and finally, if necessary, a coin toss (best 3 out of 5!).
- Quarter-Finals & Semi-Finals: if a match is tied after both legs, the match is decided by total goals in the tie, total assists, total clean sheets, least red cards, least yellow cards and again, if necessary, a coin toss.
- The Final: If the match is drawn then the winner will have scored the most goals, the most assists, the most clean sheets, the least red cards or the least yellow cards. If somehow this still doesn’t separate the teams, we will replay the Final.
* Note – the away goals rule has been dropped this year. The first tiebreaker for knockout rounds is Goals Scored.
