Results for the opening matches of the Champions League
The top score of the week was set by Tralfamadore Zoo, notching up 64 against Vanishing Spray to get their campaign off to a flyer.
RelicFC, Smash & Grab and DC LFC also topscored in their Groups and head the tables going in to Match #2.

RelicFC -v- AC Reykjavik BayCobblers
The early Group leaders take on Premier League Reykjavik in what looks like a very close game on paper. Both teams are W2L3 in the League and after five weeks there is only three points between their total matchpoints this season.
Mighty Fine Feeling -v- East Loop United FC
These sides have met once before in Season 3. East Loop knocked MFF out of the Cup in the Semi-Finals, 71-40.
Group B
Bigger Than Brolin -v- Bigo1
The first of two All-Premiership match-ups. These two teams will play each other three times in the next four weeks.
Gloopy Yarbles -v- Smash & Grab
The two victorious teams in Group B last week face-off for first place.
Group C
All Star Gunners -v- Tralfamadore Zoo FC
The first Champions League game at the new Tokyo Express Arena. The visitors are currently second in the Best-ish table; ASG are 32nd.
Vanishing Spray FC -v- Gene’s Unicorn Reserves
The second All-Premiership match-up this week. They met earlier in the season, Vanishing Spray took the win 46-42.
Group D
Chucky Pad Warriors -v- PSV Wide Open
These two teams sit below the red line tonight in Group D. They will meet for the first time at the recently drained Chucky Pad Swamp.
DC LFC -v- Goleta Hotspur
Both teams will begin the weekend with a win already under their belts, but they had the two lowest winning scores in the Champions League last week. This could be a close game.
