We’ve one more game to go in the Group Stage, but we’ve already got six teams through to the next round. Unfortunately, this also means that we’ve confirmed six eliminations.
Four teams are still fighting to go through; GoFYS and ASG have the advantage going into Week 6 needing only a point to go through to the knockout stages.
AFC Chester needs to beat the All Star Gunners by 7+ points in a do-or-die finale to qualify for the next round.
For Bigger Than Brolin its a little bit more complicated. They need to beat Banana Swans (currently 2nd in the Best-ish rankings), GoFYS FC to lose to Vanishing Spray and to overturn a 45-point points difference.
In other news, Sporting Wicker Park and Mighty Fine Feeling mutually assured their green stripes by eeking out a draw, with the help of Wijnaldum Leviosa hitting the Warriors for 60.
Smash & Grab, already through, were soundly beaten by KH Granitza Sting, who gave themselves a spot in the next round.
A huge score of 77 for Banana Swans also qualified them for the knockouts.
