EYE-CATCHING!
After two match weeks, things are pretty much set in stone. The rest of the season seems like a formality almost. And yet, we took the effort to draft teams for the season, so we might as well play it out.
Some teams have high-flying seasons ahead, some will drop like heavy cargo zeppelins. And yet currently only six points separate any team, throughout all tiers, so it’s all calm, good and gravy right now. The Both Footed Football Association: It’s a wondrous thing.
–PREM: Smash & Grab and Bigger than Brolin have reacted to the gun fastest as the early leaders, but a string of, say, two losses could derail either completely and see them out for the count forever. Six hang level on 3 points, unsure whether to consider half as half-full or half-relegated. Unicorns and Reykjavik have yet to get off the mark, though Unicorns is joint-fourth in tier Bestish points. Meanwhile, Bigo1 lost for the first time in the history of BFFA (fact check? nah, just make blanket proclamations and briskly move on).
-CHAMP: A top three of Boss’ Blues, Mighty Fine Feeling and All Star Gunners celebrate undefeated seasons at the pivotal two-game marker. GoFYS, Sporting Wicker and Banana Swans target next weekend as the one that delivers the season’s first sweet, sweet victory. Others enjoy the false security of mid-table.
–LEAGUE 1: Tralfamadore Zoo and Cornballers enjoy maximum points, while Granitza and Leviosa likely enjoy no points less, particularly as the latter lost to tier number-one Tralfamadore by only three points (different points, it’s complicated). Even closer, shave-wise, Branwellington edged out Chester by one point in the week’s tightest bout.
–LEAGUE 2: Sugar Daddies and Cabezezo Increible lead on full points. New names apparently totally work, although this reporter was told it was forbidden, so don’t know what the flying flop dem fish be flippin’… Glentoran posted an impressive 72 for the week. Tiger Tail and Mourinho-LO would like some points, already. On the bright side for Tiger Tail, fourth in Bestish augurs well.
Don’t forget to check out the Best-ish standings. It’s fun. And worth a cool $100.
