Only Nine Remain

Seven are through to the Quarter-Finals, two will replay this weekend. One of the remaining few are the holders – The El Dude Brothers, now ranked second overall. Number One in the ranks this evening – Housewives Favourites – were unable to raise enough points to book a place in the Quarter-Finals too. Although Wives Fave picked up no yellow cards across the weekend, they ran out of steam on Sunday afternoon when Weghorst was pulled off a mere two-and-a-half minutes before he could collect a second, potentially match-winning, appearance point.

Barons and Whiskey de Bruyne, who had arrived here via the First Round, bowed out at this stage, allowing Premier League title-contenders Smash & Grab and Mighty Fine Feeling passage to the next round. The pair played in the league this week, where S&G took three points from the World #2 to leap up from fourth to top. The two could meet again in the Semi-Finals – if – they beat the World #1 We have Kompany and BFFA Cup debutants Orewa Ostriches, who are 3-0 in the tournament already.

Also appearing in the fourth round this season will be AFC Chester and All Star Gunners. All Star Gunners have won a league title and also the Champions League, but have never won the BFFA Cup. Last season they scored 54 FPts in the Third Round and went out. AFCC were also knocked out in the Third Round last season despite scoring 58 FPts, losing to Vanishing Spray 58-72. This will be their first QF appearance and they will either face League One’s BattleVAR Galatico or top-scoring Housewives Favourites.
