This year’s BFFA Cup Final has been set.
It pitches this season’s top two scoring teams against each other. Top of the pops Bigo1 have won the League before, finishing top of the DLF in Season 1, but have never been to a Cup Final. They kicked out Boss Barkley with the score of the round, winning 57 – 48. Boss Barkley may feel hard done by the draw, but can now concentrate on the super-tight battle for a Champions League spot.
Newcomers Tralfamadore Zoo scrape past Premier League opposition by the narrowest of margins. Smash & Grab become the fourth team in as many seasons to be knocked out of the Cup by a single point! The Zoo, who secured promotion last week, are now just one game away from winning a cool $100. Smash & Grab stumble at the Semi-Final stage for the third time in their history in a very disappointing week for them.
So in just over three weeks we will have two teams competing not only for the Cup, but for a historic Cup, League and Best-ish Treble. The Final kicks off at Anfield on Saturday 28th April with Liverpool -v- Stoke. The gameweek will feature Southampton -v- Bournemouth, Man United -v- Arsenal and will finish on a Monday night with Tottenham -v- Watford.
