BFFA Cup – Quarter-Final Draw

Ladies and gentlemen, the draw for the Quarter-Finals took place yesterday. For your viewing pleasure, here are the fixtures for the next round.
Four teams have been here before, four teams have not, only Smash & Grab have gone on further. Expectations are high and The Final is a mere two games away.

Starting with the first team out of the hat – Wijnaldum Leviosa – the team that refuse to die, have survived twice as many games as the others, but now come up against the team at the top of the pile – the aptly-named Bigo1. Both teams have taken 12 points from their last five League games and both have so far scored well in the Cup. Expect a high-scoring game here.

Smash & Grab and Banana Swans are the most like-for-like pairing in this round, both winning only two of their last five League games and only 7 matchpoints separate the two teams in the Best-ish Table.

Relic FC moved back up to 1st Place in League One last week and will look forward to facing Championship opposition in what they hope may be a League fixture next season. Having knocked out opposition from Leagues One and Two, could Relic beat Boss Barkley and a Premier League Team to complete the set? Boss Barkley have had the cheapest route to the QFs scoring only 86 points in the Cup so far and will have a tough time stopping The Relics.

Tralfamadore Zoo have had possibly the toughest road so far, beating teams scoring 50+ in both games. They will fancy their chances in this game, but the Warriors are keen to cause an upset. They are unbeaten in their last six League and Cup games and will be ready to put out a strong team.

The Quarter-Finals will begin on Saturday 3rd March with Burnley vs. Everton and will feature classics such as Liverpool vs. Newcastle and Man City vs. Chelsea.
Good luck all.
